Dropping trips more difficult?

Is the schedule flexibility taking a hit with the attrition being as bad as it is?

Isn't it contractual that at least for the day schedules drop 75% of the grid has to be green?

You won't hold a line for a year, so it doesn't really matter.

its basically almost impossible to drop anything anymore unless either a. lucky or b. luckier in IOT ( the first bid period carried out in seniority )

the whole reserve grid system is now and for the foreseeable future a CA only privilege and no longer a reason to come here.

True statement! Reserve rules need to be fixed much more than first year pay as QOL, especially in the right seat, is in the toilet. A good majority could benefit from that sort of change.

Means squat without context. CA or FO, percent seniority in base?

I think it’s highly base dependent. LAS is a bloodbath on the FO side. I was able to trade some stuff but we had a total of ~8 green days if memory serves and none of them were more than two in a row.

You think finding green days is hard now on the FO side, wait until reserve drops are back and that thing will be red red red. Have to find the happy middle ground somehow because line holders not being able to drop anything because reserve pilots are dropping for X list trips doesn’t seem to be beneficial as well

Until attrition is fixed (maybe in 2030) FO grid will remain red, unfortunately
