"Although Spirit is struggling, its executives testified that the airline had a long-term plan to return to profitability." See, e.g., Tr. Ex. 678 at 2; Tr. 11/7/2023

Every airline plan I have seen to return to profitability involves cutting worker pay and establishing large management retention bonuses to insure they keep their management talent! Then they tack on performance bonuses for management based on metrics no one understands. If they don't meet the vague metrics they simply change them.

Have you been on a frontier flight? It makes us look classy. Have you seen their contract and do you see any path to them ever getting more money ever. Double digit bases doing day turns like Allegiant= zero open time and zero schedule flexibility.

Your hyperbole is astounding. You would really rather be unemployed?

This isn’t 2002 or 2008. There are other options.

F9 intended to use shares on the initial purchase of NK. F9 share value has dropped 60% since then so highly unlikely. TD Cowen thinks NK ch 11 followed by liquidation the most probable outcome.

A lot of us were looking forward to coming over to the blue side. This certrainly is taking out what little wind we had left in our sails.

In name. However, companies end up liquidated out of chapter 11 as well.
