It is what it is. Been contemplating this outcome for years. Tbh i was already getting frustrated with carrying 51% reserve coverage in ACY and still seeing crews from other bases flying ACY routes. Just open a new domicile and let those of us who were previously lineholders fly. The sitting around doing nothing and getting paid for it feels dirty with furloughs and downgrades coming. Wasteful spending.

Reserves are insurance. There for when it goes wrong.

Not when nearly half of the acy base is on reserve, while every other base carries 30-35 percent reserve, which is already an excessive rate of reserve coverage. Scheduling is not insuring anything except a faster path to bankruptcy with the current levels of reserve coverage.

LAS is not 30-35%, more like 55-60% at least on the FO side. But your point still stands. They hired to grow 20% this year and that’s not happening. I fully expect them to have calculated the cost of furloughs with most pilots not returning (why would you!?). I see every month multiple pilots asking about getting their landing currency again on the WhatsApp groups - bodes well for how much flying we’re doing and how many reserves it’s being split amongst.

but with the rain cloud approaching the Atlantic City Flying Country Club what are y’all going to do?
WHY are you still here? Do you crave that much attention on here that you can't get outside the internet?
Months ago you said you left for "greener skies"

No reason to continue to troll and post here bud...move along, find some "new" internet friends

There won't be furlough pay. Re-read that section of the CBA. There are very notable exclusions.

Not to mention the chart found there. After 1 year completed service, 1 month pay. Most, if not all, of these unfortunate guys and girls are less than one year on property
