I wonder if a re-bid by jb would ever be in the cards. The court specifically cited spirit as a ulcc being a reason for denial. It seems spirit has “transformed” mostly on paper to more align with and become a LCC, paving the way for a merger. Especially with jb’s recent debt raise for 3billion. Now, jb comes in from a pre-bankruptcy play at say $22 p/s etc.

from a.net, wonder if there is something similar to this on Monday
Yes, that was known as a pre-packaged bankruptcy. AA's purchase of the assets was presented to the judge.

The exclusivity period hadn't even started.

It’s going to be F9, that’s the knight and shining armor. And before anyone spits and says “ugh, Frontier,” I would remember that Frontier is probably the one thing keeping NK from liquidation

There would likely be a high demand for unaffected NEO's, but not the older planes unless they were offered at a huge discount. There are a lot of hoops to jump through before that point, so hopefully you guys get something worked out before then.

Spirit Airlines is now worth less than the price of an A-321!

“While often used interchangeably, "a piece of stock" is essentially the same as "a piece of the company" - meaning a share of ownership in a company, but it's important to remember that a stock is not a physical part of the company itself, but rather a representation of ownership rights in the company's assets and profits; when you buy a stock, you become a partial owner of the company, not a literal piece of its physical property.”

A company or any assets is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. Not sure what point you’re trying to make.
