I was at Spirit for 13+ years, never rubbed anything in anyones face. You are again being defensive, believing only those with 6 months left for another airline, while more senior Spirit guys have circumstances where their "entire life is in the balance. " Wrong again, Snowflake; many left that had much more time flying Yellow planes (and grey before that) than you do. Guys at top of the pay scale, somewhere you are trying to reach. 3000+ pilots had/have had skin in the game.

Again, stop being the victim. Stop making everyone the villain. Nobody is rubbing anything in anyone's face, it's you being sensitive. I swear, are you someone's wife?

In fairness, you would have likely burned your bridges at the major that offers you a CJO if you don’t take it when offered, so there is that.

Conversely, if NK were to go Chapter 7, you would now be competing against those with some sort of flow, the military guys, and everyone else from NK (and possibly F9) for those legacy new hire slots so there is that too. No one-size-fits-all ‘right choice’ but you at least ought to be considering ALL the pros and cons before making any decision.

Let it go bruh, I will say this though, Noisecanceller said the move you made makes no financial sense.

No harm no foul to have started the process for possibly having something in your back pocket if you wanted to pull the trigger. Wish nothing but the best for all my buds still there.

This right here...100%

I have a hard time believing this is a Delta pilot. Their only post on the Delta forum was mid Dec 2022 saying they just got a CJO. The only 320A at Delta with a class after that was two weeks later. CJO to class at the time was five months... not two weeks.

Imagine having such low self esteem that you go to other airline’s forums to tell them how you make more money than they do. You do realize that there are pilots out there who make more than you do right? Why aren’t you working for them? It’s obviously because you’re an idiot and have no clue what is a priority in your life. There is no other explanation. Some people are career flight instructors…idiots. Some people fly helicopters…idiots. Some people enjoy doing aerial photography…you guessed it! IDIOTS! Some people are happy at Spirit, are in a position to and are willing to gamble on their futures at this airline. None of them care about your priorities, they care about their own, like most mature adults do. Moving to another airline is also a gamble. Karma is a real ***** bub and it will catch up to you. Need to work on your self esteem in the meantime. You don’t have to admit it now…there are many signs and everyone can see it.

Amen, Geared Up is exactly why I never want to work at Delta.

So insecure about working for Spirit. Guys come on here and talk about credible rumblings of pending furloughs and possible base closures and you take it so personal that you instantly go to low blows and start barking at everyone. You clearly have a big battle you are fighting internally. I think you know logically that your predictions about the fate of Spirit have been wrong all along, but emotionally you just can't accept it.
