That's a good rumor. Where are you hearing it?

AA has its own internal pilot forum and facebook pages that have significantly higher engagement than APC. The word is 600 more NH’s this year and over 2k in 2026. It’s my understanding they’ve been prioritizing NK pilots for a while now.

Fantastic! That is excellent news. I hope United and AA pick up most of the Spirit pilots that apply. We'd love to have them at DAL too, but our management (as Fangs15 indicated in an earlier post) has decided that hiring right now (although we are understaffed in many categories) is not prudent.

I know United is hiring Spirit pilots, and that will pick up as we ramp up hiring the rest of this year and 2026-2029. But I don't know if they get any kind of priority. I can't imagine they won't since most of them have a high number of hours and they are type rated on a plane we fly.

Good luck to everyone.

Those who are actually furloughed are getting additional points on their United app. The key is them actually applying.

I've had my apps to United, Delta, and AA out for almost a year. How do they know I'm getting furloughed?

Wonder what all them DFW boys and girls are going to do with the news that they want to close Dallas along with some other bases?

I know a lot of them said they’re never leaving, but with this news, they gotta be updating their apps fo sho.

In the past, application forms had a checkbox to indicate furloughed ALPA.
