This place has no long term plan. It’s day by day at this point. It’s not normal to have Director level positions quit and walk out the door with no notice. NK C Suite doesn’t know where we will be flying to in January, how many planes we will have, what our staffing levels of be. They got caught with there pants down in this unplanned second Chapter 11 and now we get to watch the entire airline burn while Davis runs around the building looking for a fire extinguisher.
- People leave jobs all the time. If you’re claiming folks “walked out” without notice, show evidence—many do give notice.
- The C-suite obviously has a view of the near-term plan. Is the January schedule final today? No. But we’re already selling tickets into March 2026, so there’s a roadmap even if it’s still being refined.
- They weren’t “caught with their pants down.” Spirit engaged multiple law firms prior to the Chapter 11 filing. So yes, they knew this was coming. Was it accelerated due to AerCap? Absolutely.

That’s all the NK sub forum has been for quite some time now. The rational people are mostly lurking and rarely posting if they come here at all anymore. It’s trolls, rubber neckers and drama queens all the way down. Quite the basket of deplorables.

You’re speculating when you think people’s messages are being masked with “I’m just trying to help.” It’s a forum. It’s where discussions happen. Most of them are hypothetical of course. And you don’t have to agree or disagree. I know it’s an emotional time for most and a lot of things are being taken personally because of that mental state.
