That’s all we are talking about here. Minimizing the cash burn for Spirit. Perhaps Spirits recent moves will cause a similar turn around for the better.
If NK has no bumps in operations along the way and makes no major changes, it liquidates in 6-months. NK has to get to only producing profitable routes and more cuts and efficiency from employees and operations to be able to pull this off. I believe time is against them but hoping I’m wrong. What boggles my mind is why NK management exited BK1 without truly streamlining the airline. What a mess!

Q4 is Oct, Nov and Dec. Spirit is already $96M in the hole for Q4. They'd have to rebound pretty sharply to become profitable for the quarter. Also last year Frontier made about $40M in Q4 and Spirit lost $580M in Q4 so they don't really track each other like that. They have had over a year now since the first filing and they still haven't shed enough debt or restructured enough to find a way to make money. Anything can happen, but they are not starting off the quarter very well.

About two weeks. Burn rate I believe is near $3M per day.

“A failure to access this funding on schedule would have dramatically increased the risk of a disorderly collapse.“
