The net loss is less because they took a $18M non cash "gain" when they terminated a bunch of leases because they had to account for the difference in the values they had on the books vs what value was actually realized. This is not a cash gain. It that won't recur.
The $72M is more meaningful because its the "all in" loss minus the accounting gain, which isn't a real economic gain and won't repeat in future reporting periods.

They were cash flow positive for the 2nd month in a row, they haven't drawn from the DIP and most of the losses in November were directly tied to their bankruptcy expenses. They are not burning cash! You forgot to add in the cash from the loyalty program aka Spirit Cayman. They have more money in the bank now than they did in October. Most people on this site prefer bad news, but this is good news.

Your use of the word "we" is interesting, it's as if you're speaking for everyone. However, not everyone agrees with you. The only people who agree with you are the naysayers, local trolls and the gloom and doomers. Not everyone is as pessimistic as you are ACEHOLE.

The specific facts that poster you quoted asserts are likely incorrect, but the overall thesis has merit. This place would have been liquidated a while ago if there was nothing in the works.
I doubt it's SWA, I doubt it's AS...and the AA posts were just laughable. But the previous history, bankruptcy declaration right after the Franke meeting at the start.. and then the recent $50M lifeline, sudden removal of Biffle and the fact all of this news only broke shortly after pilot concessions were voted in....something is up with Indigo and Frontier.
Will it result in a deal? Not sure. Is it an outcome worth staying for even if it does happen? Not in my personal opinion. But that's a calculation everyone has to make for themselves based on seniority vs starting over elsewhere.
