we were negotiating with Iran over their nuclear program two months ago. Since then, they have gained control
over the straight and increased their negotiating position.

Maybe spoke too soon? I can’t confirm yet but it looks like an F-15 was shot down, an A-10, and a couple of Pavelows were hurt trying to rescue. Then, separately, a military intelligence article came out describing they may still have 50% of their missile capabilities and drones.

Besides that point we dominated Iraq and Afghanistan as well but one could argue pretty easily it didn’t go so well after we dominated them militarily. Different situations, so far, but still. Maybe we hold back the dominating talk until this stupidity is over.

We might have been dominating so far but either their air defense hasn’t been destroyed and pres lied on Wednesday or someone took out at least one fighter jet with a shoulder rocket.

We have literally deleted the vast majority of their conventional military.

And we lost two planes? So what? The trade was their entire air force and navy.

This is a war (not one that I was in favor of but we're in it now).

Lot of ways that could happen. Since it didn't happen for the first 4-5 weeks my guess is that somebody got a bit complacent (not necessarily pilots, could have been intel or planners set them up to fail).

It is my understanding only congress has the power to declare war.

It's my understanding that this was supposed to be a forum for discussion on Spirit filing for Chapter 11...again. Lots of Strategic Studies experts in the room though for sure.

The adventures of our military forces in other regions have caused a direct influence on oil prices which include Jet A. This will directly relate to the Spirit filing for Chapter 11…again.

but their “Air Force” was gifted to them by the US and it was ancient, lol. We look like such morons here.

Because survival is still in jeopardy. IMHO NK still doesn’t have a solid survivable business plan.
Pilots are still bailing out, paying 200% to keep jets flying, operation is still losing money prior to high fuel and double pay. Cost and loss enormously high. Cancelled flights continue to **** off customers. More revenue loss from those flights.
NK model used to be low pay, low fares, high growth. Very different today. Pollyanna pilot boasts about how much money he’s making while NK continues to bleed. It’s not good right now at NK despite those trying to say it is.
