…and I’m the troll. lol ok. What has Davis achieved for the company. I agree he was given an impossible task but nothing has gotten better of anything the viability of NK has gone off a cliff. I don’t think there are any “haters” no one is rooting for spirits demise, there are just delusional hold outs screaming at all of us who left and made the right call. Yall are the real haters. They’re plenty of haters, you kidding my boy? Spirit screwed up the old guard; so
much so the entire industry came for them with long knives. Now they’re wounded, geniuses left the seniority list to plant themselves behind 25 year olds(sucks/hurts).

But laws have changed since, you need to be in really bad shape for the court to even entertain a BK plea now. That's for corporate, as far as I know individuals can still load up the lifestyle on credit cards and then just tap out at any time, no questions asked.

You cede control of the company in chapter 11. Delta came within one vote of the creditors committee to cease to exist.

Yet 50+ diverts from the CAT III airport ATL this past morning. Autoland means nothing if the vis is so low you can't taxi it all the way to the gate. That remains to be seen.

So, I don't know exactly what caused it but there were NOTAMs for 8L and 9R degrading, at least for my airline, the field from Cat-III to Cat-II, and with RVRs below Cat-II mins I'm assuming that is why they stopped taking arrivals.

In order to have a CATIII approach the airport has to have an approved taxi plan for the minimum vis allowed.
