Stick around sweetheart! history has a way of repeating itself. Ask the TWA, the UsAir, Eastern, Pan Am guys etc. Anyone that’s been in the industry long enough knows. From the sounds of it, your parents set you up well, flight school, reginal for quick stint, NK for awhile, now a legacy. Other then a little light chop from NK your career vector has been smooth. No 9/11, no financial crisis of 2010, positioned well to ride out Covid 19, afterwards it got a little rough for you and sky was falling.
If you have moved? Stop coming back to revisit you NK experience and enjoy your new gig/honeymoon period at your current airline. Hopefully it’s smooth for you the rest of your career and the rest of the peeps that jumped ship. |
News flash! Ted has moved on; like you should.

How would it go over with the flying public if a known state sponsor of terrorism were to target multiple US or Western aircraft?
Any of a variety of junior varsity fringe lunatic groups might try anything at any time, but it's been proven that they can't really cross the ocean and pull off big events in the US without state sponsorship. Not only will States not go there, they also actively impede anyone who might be associated with them from going there... Hezbollah, Hamas, etc could have conducted ops in the US, but Iran wouldn't allow that because they know the chickens would come home to roost. Iran's main guy got whacked because he was coordinating small-scale attacks on US service members in Iraq. |

You believe in this dumpster fire? I’ve been trying to leave for over a year now. Some of my favorite comments from juicers on here are “I wouldn’t want to be on the bottom of Legacy right now”. And, “Look at PanAm, if it can happen to them, it can happen to Delta or United.”……..um, no it can’t. The US Federal government will never let any of the Big 4 go under. They are to big to fail. It would be like letting GMC go under or JP Morgan go under. Also, it took PanAm a decade to shrink itself by 50% before it finally went under. We have done it inside 12 months. They at least sold their Pacific division to United in 1985 which gave them another 6 years. Any ideas what we got paid for the 20+ West Coast cities we just abandoned and pulled out of over the past year?

Youve been trying to leave for a year? Whats holding you up? Anyone I know that’s applied has been able to interview. If you didn’t get the job that’s on you. If they haven’t called in the first place there’s a reason, and I’d say you’re lucky to be at Spirit and should be a little more grateful for the opportunity this dumpster fire gave you.

Holding up? Duh, it’s the concessions he’s taking by leaving. |

I’ve flown with a lot of former NK pilots the last year. |
