If that’s true, it’s before they meet with govt. Trump admin provides liquidity to cover some of spirit’s losses while frontier completes the purchase? Cash is either paid back on long term loan, or maybe equity is given to government in combined company. Government also gets a big ULCC to keep airfare low and prevents job loss.

No they are not. Frontier isn't riding in to save the day for you. Should have gotten out while you could. Stop spreading rumors and false hope to the gullible and desperate.

Spirit's dead. Over. Done for and gone.

Just for reference, this guy said Spirit was shutting down this past January, December, September, August, July, and May. I am sure he will be right one of these days. Though to be fair if I had to leave Spirit for GoJet I'd be bitter too.

Seriously doubt Bill Franke would give equity to the government just to get Spirit.

Frontier buying Spirit is a quick way to run Frontier into BK too. Frontier is trying to keep their own house in order. Also, don’t think government will bail out NK because there is no business plan and the government can’t show favoritism to one airline over the others.

The Federal Government has already shown favoritism through the unequal enforcement of the Clayton Act.
