You just hope that when 4 320's arrive, 4 319's don't go away. That is my biggest fear right now.

But here is an interesting question pertaining to this fear mongering about another F in July. When is the company again required by law to send out another WARN letter?

Just answered my own question. It is only required if the layoff is to exceed 50 employees.

Recalls?

If that miracle happend, and NK adds those 4 A320's, how many pilots are getting recalled??? maybe I'll make it!!!!

I also heard that 4 airplanes rumor !!!!

I'm pretty sure those 4 A320s are coming. From what I've heard, there will be 1 per month starting in March. I too have looked on Orbitz...it appears the first one comes onboard around March 15th...by April, I can see there are 2 in service. I can't see the May schedules yet. If they don't give away any 319s when they get these things, 4 airplanes alone should get everyone who wants to come back, a chance by June. There will probably be a small bit of attrition, as well as people I know who aren't going to come back.

Let's hope they get the ball rolling, grow this 2 bit airline, and we'll be flying again.

I hope so. I'm on year 10 of our 5 year growth plan.

Ok

Good, I really hope that ALL of us on furlough come back to work soon.
I also heard they finally are going to start a new service to Colombia in November, we will see........ by now we all know how NK works .!!!

Past and present performance of the airline doesn't tell us JACK SQUAT about where this place is headed in two months or next year.

We are all creating all kinds of scenarios with this "Big Announcement" rumor...

It's very entertaining, but can also be very destructive...

14.6 pilots per airplane currently that means a need for about 58 and there are still 78 on the street. That means we need some decent attrition and a decent number of guys not coming back to get everyone, including me.

Bored, if it makes you feel better a few of my buddies from Skyway left for Virgin when they were furloughed. They don't plan on coming back....so there's a few and I'm sure there will be others.

I was wondering what the number. Is that accurate? Thanks.
