Low cost expansion

before I was furloughed I did a flight to CTG, and I met with two guys from spirit management in Colombia, and they mentioned that Indigo was looking for a strong and rich Colombian partner to open a new low cost in Colombia and therefore start flying down South America. Now, the question arises, do you guys think that all these investments could affect NK in some way???

If you look at Tiger OZ and Tiger SIN it would basically be a mirror image of that. How it would affect NK? Not sure. Doesn't look like the two over on the other side of the world affect each other too much.

They are looking to have LCC's on each and every continent.(Minus Antarctica)
WIZZ- Europe
Tiger- Australia
Tiger- SE Asia
Incheon Tiger- Abandoned for now but would have covered much of Asia from Korea.
Mandala Airlines- Indonesia, currently flying some NK 319s out of Bali.
Kingfisher- India
Spirit- USA
Avianova- Russia
Pluna- Based out of Uruguay. Not not following the LCC plan.

That basically leaves South America and Africa to work on. I think SA has been a target for many many years, I think Africa might be a logistics nightmare.

Actually they have been 90% full majority of the time. As much as I would like to think it's because we are kicking butt, its really because we sold some planes and have less flight per city = higher loads.

Our last "big" announcement was our new inflight food selection :) go figure

The other rumor I have heard was the closing of FA bases in LGA and SJU.
