You liked it? I wasn't a fan either. Never treated poorly but just wasn't a fan. The rooms weren't great. I'm not picky about what's in them but the ACs were old and barely kept up in summer. The line at the front desk was always long and very rarely did they take the 10 seconds to give us our book and let us be on our way. Location was good though. Plenty of stuff in walking distance. I'd rather Spirit get super shuttle fixed. I'm sick of them sending one van for 5 crews. Always making the first crew or two late.

You sound like an academic mind - arguing from a textbook. Try getting out of theory and going real world.
This pilot group has been going the extra mile for a long time. Well before they decided to unionize in the 90's. Not one union Representative, not one MEC, not one MEC Chair, not one Negotiationg Committee has been able to do what you seem to think is possible.
You keep talking about "building a case", but you haven't shown us which court will hear the case.
I'm saying that the BOD is that court, not Ben or Bendoritis.

Why would the BOD change a management staff that is providing the record profits we see? Why would they give you, GIVE you, a pay raise when you already do what you do to make the company successful? Will you do more for more money? Or are you already giving 200%?
If Ben, Bendoritis and Jyri's jobs are in danger it's the stock price dip that's got them worried, not a bunch of emails sent in by a "I'm here to help" pilots.

Lot's of valid questions...the last line seems to miss the point. When we stop helping them, and allow IROPS spirit airlines to suffer profit loss, and continued stock decline, it will be a lot easier to prove our value to the Spirit product, then w/o any evidence. Again...what real world help is proposed that allows each of us to do SOMETHING to benefit our negotiating position? And again...documentation/data/real world events as evidence is the objective..not to mention how ridiculous MGT will look when they have 1000's of emails exposing their need for our skills. Doesn't matter to me how we negotiate our package, but having been on furlough from two airlines in 25 years, I want to do all that I can in my role. Would hope the same from all of us.

Forgive me if I don't get all rah rah let me send a email to plead my case of what I'm worth.
See this mgmt group, BBB, thinks so much if you, me and the rest of the group that he allowed us, actually encouraged us to quit our jobs in 2010 and walk away. One thing and one thing only got us a contract. The fact that airplanes didn't move and the company lost money.
Get it out of your head that they give a rats *** about you, your family, your mortgage. They do not. Only thing they care about is profits, if they cared you'd have had a TA Aug 1.
I/we have worth to the company. We are the only ones that can fly the jet, they don't need a damn email saying that I asked 4 time to hook up the air and then went I did it myself. They'll get the message in the fuel bill and apu usage.

There was always eye candy to look at there and plenty of options in the area. Staff was nice at the hotel but the hotel was just ok.
