I'm sure we will soon find out just how many planes they can operate.

Looks like the company is getting smart with the line building. In DFW, they aren't building reserve lines with transitions anymore. No more 6 days at end, and 6 days at beginning Now its only 3 days max. Lots of 6 day blocks with 1 day off at last day of month. I keep telling guys who rave about transition...ITS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE COMPANY BUILDS. I love transition when I can get it, but I'll be more than happy to give it up for the right price.

Has to be done the right way.

Being junior and getting stuck with a big conflict with no pay protection would be a disaster in a month like September or January.
You could end up with a 43hr line. That would completely the purpose of having a 72 hr guarantee.

Full pay protection always! Removing the conflict from the center or end instead of just the ends would solve 99% of their problems. That ain't free either.

It's been like that for a while now. At least with the lines in DTW. Conflict drops are much harder to come by, and what does get dropped is now replaced with a horrible trip, for a gain of only 1 or 2 days off.
