Quote: We need to start doing more that that. What if we did what the AA pilots did years ago. Sick outs and MX write ups. Every time the company tries to slap us in the face with a low ball offer at negotiation table. Think of the chaos it will cause for the company.
Familiarize yourself with the RLA. You sound like Gunga Dim, resident glue sniffer of the forums, with that post.

That's an illegal work action, union can't touch that. Pilots should not fly sick, fly broke planes, and are not required to work on their days off. If people don't understand that, they are too dumb to be of any substantial help.

I think any FO in ORD should file a NCC. I am going to start doing that for anyone down here who is awarded reserve and is on standing available. Going to take a few minutes to track but it will be worth it.

For DFW...

E.J. lives in Michigan, drops most of his schedule and fills it out with gravy and MUP calls

R.W. IS on Reserve and still on the SA List (violation). He took a 4 day trip on 16th this month when they called. Either JRM from the draft list or a JRM from the SA list, which he should not even be on and would be an NCC if he got the JRM off the SA list.

Keeping getting that gravy, R.W.!!

J.D. wants that money. Love that SA Gravy

It honestly wont be worth it. It would only be worth it if a RES pilot on the SA list was given a trip off the SA list, bypassing a pilot on the list for JRM, that would be a violation of the company.

Reserve pilots on the SA list has been grieved and sustained before and the remedy, until FLICA can fix the software, is no RES pilot on the SA list will be called for the trip. The email from LEC 18 confirms this.

The NCC should be filed against the greedy pig pilots who are on RES and then violating their contract by placing themselves on the SA list, trying to get that gravy before anyone gets the call

Contract aside, imagine the hurt the company would feel if instructors didnt pick up extra training slots in open time?

DN, in your opinion, how back logged would the new hire system become if guys stopped picking up training open time?

The instructors have more of a opportunity to hurt the company than regular line pilots..yet nobody says S about the big bucks they are making training on days off..
