What’s the latest?

The contract states 75 hours/month for 1st year, 75 hours a month in full month training (upgrade) and 70 hours a month in all other months. Currently lines are being built around 90 hours of credit. Lots of deadheading which pays 100%, and if you add the trip out of premium trips the whole trip pays 150%. On either block, or trip rig.

I am thrilled for you guys. When I was trying to get out of my last airline I came across 2 SY pilots. After talking to them for 15 minutes the CA says, I am the lead check airman here why don’t you give me your info. Unfortunately by the time I received interview invite I was already somewhere else.
do you guys mind posting the exact rates. Also how many 76s are coming. Exciting times at sunny.

What’s the current reality at Sun Country? I received an interview invite and am curious if it would be worth it to make the move. I’m currently a senior FO at my regional and when thing start moving again I should be able to upgrade immediately. So pay-wise (according to the airline profile page here) it would be a lateral move or step down from what I would make as a captain at my current regional. How is life for a commuter? Upgrade time? Life on reserve? All the normal questions...
And what’s with the mentions of 767s?

Houston Air Holdings aka Xtra Airways aka Avelo Airlines is also hiring 737-800 pilots...

don't forget Breeze, Spirit and Frontier have app windows open.
Sunny propaganda these days... going public soon SNCY, already negotiated 767 pay rates for pilots, pilot contract negotiations to start in May.
As of now, reserve, commuting, pay, still sucks.
FO pay...52, 82, 87, 92 etc

All that being said I should qualify it with the fact that I actually do really like working here. You do some fun and interesting flying and the crews are great. I think there's a lot of potential for contract improvements too, with negotiations approaching fast I think a lot of big gains will be coming. Call be a hopeless optimist. Really, coming to sunny now is just kinda a gamble. Coming here could be like coming to NK just before their last big contract and you get hundreds of pilots after you quick. Or it could be 5 years before our next contract. No one knows, it's just how much risk you can tolerate.
