Default Nonrev Interfly

(Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this), but I’m curious why SY does not have an exchange nonrev agreement with Delta and American? Is that getting looked at with the new contract?

I have no insider information but I understand that's their choice. It has nothing to do with our contract if Delta and American don't want to give it. As for now if you want to fly on them its only jumpseating, no family.

I’ve heard DL doesn’t have ZED agreements with any of the ULCCs beyond jumpseat agreements.

I've asked the benefits department directly, they said they've reached out to DL multiple times and been told no every time. Not sure why, but it's not for not trying that's for sure.

probably because sunny employees would benefit greatly from the deal vs delta employees.

There's a hidden benefit that Delta employees are missing out on: you can actually non-rev successfully on SY. They probably would make out better than the SY employees.

Benefit: non-rev on an SY flight to a vacation destination
Not a benefit: Try to non-rev on Delta only to have 35 people show up to non-rev within the last hour and end up getting bumped from the flight.

This. I’m shocked at how small the standby lists are on Sunny compared to AA and DL
