You think ipads will get people fired up enough to read here. why not talk about the emails from greg begging and pleading for more guys to upgrade saying to "trust" him and the future of the airline. i've never met a management team that i trust, especially when they havent ****canned the cancer that is bosh. showing him the front door and having it hit him on the way out might show a little trust. till then, no.

These long lines went pretty senior for December. Christmas AND New Year’s off? Lots of MSP locals getting them which is great for them, but I thought these lines were built to help attract commuters here. Also, you’d think that building more long lines would improve the regular bid packet and it hasn’t. Still lots of low credit lines with min days off..

Also, commuter or not, it’s all about seniority.

Not sure if the vacation allocations will be adjusted as a result of the arbitration planned for the end of November.
You are correct though, those lines were built to attract commuters. Even if they increased the number of those lines, it might not help too much…you can see how senior the LHS alternates were based on employee numbers.

It sounds like they have classes filled through the spring. They have plenty of FO’s. The growth constraint is captains. No one wants to upgrade. The airline can’t grow without pilots in both seats.

Jude said on the earnings call today that he expects to have the staffing issues resolved in six months. Maybe a little optimistic but I’d say it’s doable once the training pipeline is fully up and running.

I was told after my interview that upgrade time is 12-18 months. Depends on who wants it. Why are guys not wanting to upgrade if you live in base?

No one wants to be the plug on reserve and end up on a long 5 day trip with 27 hour sits in the middle when you can do a few MCO turns a month as a senior FO and be home every night
