New to Sun Country ID90
Greetings. I’m a United guy. I’m trying to get my father out of Vegas tomorrow to MSP on the 1010 AM flight. Flight 102. I listed my dad on Sun Country space available and it gave him a record locator. He used that to check in on the Sun Country website. Looks like a valid code on a boarding pass to get through security. Does he still need to checkin at the check-in desk? Any visibility on loads for that flight?
Many thanks!

Yes exactly. What carriers can we fly on? How does the standby process work? I assume we fall low on the priority list. Have you used it internationally? Sorry this is all so new to me. My class date is a ways out and it has not been explained to me. Is there somewhere I can find out more about this benefit?

Yessir. I apologize I'm a new hire with my class date a ways out. This is all new to me and I didn't even know it was possible to have benefits on other carriers. Which carriers can we fly on? You can fly on most Carriers, we don’t have benefits on Delta except a jumpseat agreement. You will be on the bottom of the standby list, one spot above Jumpseating.
We have some international carriers. Which is in economy seating but some carriers bump you up, some don’t.
You use the ID90 app or myidtravel to list/purchase your ticket or check loads.
You will get more explained to you in Ground School. These are standby tickets and can work if you are flexible but trying to use them to get around with family can be tricky. Also trying to use them to say go to florida over spring break can be a nightmare. You just have to plan wisely and ask around to get a feel for loads.
