BIG NEWS Rumor Mill
We got big names on the board. Why is that? People are quiet about what is happening at Sunny supposedly....Hawaiian Merger?
Just trying to create a thread to consolidate all Rumors good and bad in one place! Maybe have fun on the forum?

-Both Airlines would grow overnight, Sunny now a true Major
-Prime widebody and narrow body carrier

Be careful what you wish for.
Our perks…
We could all leave sunny for more pay and more shinny airplanes. We stay for good reasons. Those reasons could be lost in a merger. Including our coveted base. Which offers a coveted waterfront home.

I heard some chatter about changes in reserve rules. Someday a genius in management will figure out that some people won’t upgrade until: Reserve line holders only work 15/16 days a month AND are able to pick up open time on off days. Heck, at other airlines you can trade reserve days for trips! Imagine being adequately staffed and that being an option!

We've only qualified 12 first officers that have been hired since Jan 1, 2023. Comparing the August bid list to the seniority list there are only 12 people bidding that were hired on or after Jan. 1. Doing the same on the captains side there are about 15 captains bidding that went to upgrade class on or after Jan 1.. If there is anything to talk about at sunny...its this.

I’ve got a 2 day vacation to Atlanta next week. I am not optimistic, but maybe I’ll solve the problem for myself.
