The other Aspen LOC DME Approach?
#12
Does anyone have a Jepp/NOS copy of the other LOC DME Approach into Aspen, not the LOC DME E? All the aircraft I fly have Universal FMS's. All the Universal's contain only the LOCDME approach that I am not certified to fly. So when I fly the ASE LOC DME E approach I cannot see the proper Intersections or Altitudes in the MFD's. I would like to see a hard copy of that other approach.
I promise I will only look at it for reference only, and will not show it to anyone.

The Special is JEPP 11-7, the DME-E is JEPP 11-1 and is also available in NOS form from PDF Plates:
PDFPlates.com
The Special only has 16 notes on it for the crew/aircraft requirements. Not sure if you can get it from anyone but JEPP.
Good Luck

Also, why not call Universal and ask them why on earth they don't include the "normal" approach in their FMS database? I can't imagine a good reason why they'd only include the approach that requires special training & authorization...
(another reason I say Universals suck, but that's neither here nor there)
