Boeing to Deliver First 787 as Soon as August - Bloomberg

Better late than never. Get it right before it flies. Just like I expect on my contract.

I'll believe it when I see it. Good luck to Boeing and good luck to the 787 customers who are going to be beta testing this thing.

Every new a/c or concept is beta tested by the crews and passengers. 747 with the engine problems, 767 with the hot start issues, round dial pilots learning FMC's, etc, etc.

Did the Boeing factory tour a couple weeks ago. 787 #37 was in final assembly.

Cheyenne III's with the elevator trim freezing.

This plane has been long overdue. Boeing should have just stuck to inhouse work to build it. Their reputation has definitely taken a hit. I just hope that the 787 is everything that Boeing says she is.
