Yeah, sorry. It's been about 5 years since I flew the Airbus. On the MD-11 we can use Max for landing. It's really quite exciting. Must have meant Medium. I'd forgotten that on the Airbus, Maximum is only for RTO's. Thanks.

And the tail has never fallen off the SAAB yet. Maybe it's just me.. I kinda like when the tail stays intact with the rest of the fuselage, make the plane much easier to fly

POS french airplane !

What a crock. The Saab I used as an airport car had the tail fall off once. Cost me $37 to get it fixed. You'd be much better off flying one of them new Volvos. And I hear it pays better... almost $15/hr.

Yet another unfounded outspoken statement. Racking them up

KiloAlpha 12-12-2006 02:38 PM

Unfounded? have you been living in a hole?

The tail literally came off an American A300 in flight. All that was left were the mounting bolts.

Captain Mark

Mark, I'm wondering if you are really a pilot or you play with Flight Sim all day? I can't believe you are acting this way over an Airbus comment. I would have expected this on that other forum with pictures but not here. Can't we all just get along?

It's great how a 40 something guy got involved in a "my airplane is better than yours" debate. What a tool.

It was NEVER about his "airplane" being bigger ...

Glad that a 37 year old with your maturity is flying the blender I bought my grandmother for christmas around and not my family.

Calm down. These peeing matches are getting old for those of us who have learned to stay out of them.
