i actually heard that Republic was going to pick that stuff up. I dont know if they were going to use the 145's or 170's but thats what I heard. Realisticly, its Usairways flying in and out of PIT its only a matter of time till its all gone (including republic's base).

I would be surprised if RAH picks up any more flying. AWAC now has contractual mins Airways is worried about. RAH is still above contract mins. Its just a matter of time they just pull out of PIT all together and move on. Do some connection flights and call it a day. They have abandoned it in every other way so why stick around? We all know its going to happen, its just more of the WHEN we do not know about.

nope. its a "done" deal.
oh how i love the TSA rumor mill. this is a good one though. on a serious note, i just read the recent vars and wondered somthing. why are negotiations always held somewhere random? why not always just st. louis? why new orleans this time? jus curious.
