Prepare Rumor Mill, besides the turboprop RFP. TSA is trying to get more 145's for additional flying. Not hearsay, straight from RZ's mouth!

I do believe ( and somebody correct me if I'm wrong) that the contract only states that "the company May approve reserve day swaps" or something equally non binding.

If a reserve is just swapping his days, it's "May request that his movable and immovable days off to be changed with approval from crew scheduling."

If you are swapping reserve days with another reserve you should get it approved unless it gives one reserve pilot a single reserve day..

At least that's how I read the contract..

The fact that it may be requested, with approval from scheduling means that it will never get approved.... Sadly.

Unfortunately I believe you are correct. Basically it allows us to ask for something... SWEET!!

Word on the street is 12 Captains displacing out of IAD to STL. Unsure about the number of FO's. Can anyone confirm?

The irony cracks me up...they can move a Saturday and give a Tuesday in exchange but if we ever tried to swap a Tuesday for a Saturday...

Also, more flying would be nice.

Today's comment and picture brought to you by Clairol. Does she...or doesn't she? Clairol!
