A lot of guys looking are probably eagle/pinnacle/comair guys and they know what the deal is.
Five airplanes are tied to the united contract till end of 2013 and the other five are tied to the united contract til spring of 2014. However, TSA will still have leases on the 10 airplanes airplanes tied to the united contract through 2017 - 2018 respectively.

They need to find flying for them. According to 'someone in the know' subleasing them ( like with the aeromexico deal) is not an option due to how they are financed.

BTW, anyone who has less than 900TT will be getting a phone call from TSA to ixnay your interview. My GF just did, and is pretty ****ed on the way they handled it, and the tone of voice that the captain used that called her. "you have less than 900 which pretty much means you'll have a real hard time through training, and it will be hard for you to meet the new HR rule by next August. On top of that, i'm guessing you don't fly all that much if your only getting less than 20 hours a month, you won't be able to meet the 900TT were looking for by middle of June." BTW guys/gals, shes at 880TT . She's 20hrs away total time.... Do the math... I'm pretty ****ed myself, and I have 1700TT with an interview with them on the 15th which STRICTLY for experience (first airline interview).
