87% but who's counting. No shows are normal everywhere. I wouldn't get too concerned. They said that hiring is on track for now.

Not surprised they are looking at new bases for AA. No way they can outstation base 15 aircraft out of St Louis.

ExpressJet told me they could interview me now and if offered the position, it'd be good for 6 months.
GoJet (I know, I know….) told me essentially the same thing.
However, Trans States told me that it was too early; that they couldn't hold a spot that long.. and I should try nearer the time.
I'm confused as to why since wouldn't all companies be about the same?
Also, I know a guy who interviewed in Nov, was offered a classdate in Feb, but had to delay it (I forget the reason why) and is now in a June class.
what gives? Basically I just don't want to wait until May or June to interview, then have to wait all summer being unemployed waiting for a class….

Lastly.. a buddy of mine who's in training at GoJet says they have single occupancy rooms… however the recruiter told me they're always doubles. ?
Someday you will figure out seniority is everything - good luck.

Maybe he's not in a position to just drop everything and move to a regional?
I've had a job before that had I quit mid-season, would've royally screwed over a good friend and person who happened to be the chief pilot.
There's way more to life than "seniority"
Good luck to you too.

You do know you can take the class dates at XYZ airline that our offering right now, and then if you get the job you want in the near future, if its TSA, then you can resend the other offers. If I was in your shoes I would take one of the two ( I know XJT doesn't make you sign a training contract. I don't know about GoJets or should I say BlowJets.) The ball is in your court I would use it.

The landscape is changing so fast lately I wouldn't make a decision about what airline to go to this summer, until this summer. The darling airline of the fleet will be different by then.

I wouldn't go to tsa because of their empty CQFO promise. its so convoluted and arbitrary that they try to blind you with the words "left seat" and captain pay at a "blended rate" LOOK AT CONTRACTS BEFORE YOU COMMIT. Remember go jets is owned by the same company that owns TSA

obviously have no idea what you are talking about. FO pay is at a blended rate (about 45 an hour) not captain pay. I'm tired of people taking liberty with the contract when they don't know what they are talking about. I think some TSA folks and some others have both responded on this forum with less tact than is appropriate. However, the CQFO program is a great opportunity for guys that have the time and are 1+ years away from upgrade at other companies. Some pilots that are not TSA clearly have a bias against us based on the perception of "stealing" aircraft from another regional or hiring their FO's. The negatives said about the company are mostly opinions, conjecture, and non factual diatribes. If you have questions, please PM somebody because this forum has devolved into something way less than civil.

You're wrong, when in the left seat CQFOs get paid the full Captain rate. The blended rate applies to right seat flying. The math concerning the number of FOs currently on property who meet upgrade minimums versus the planned growth indicates CQFOs will spend most of their time in the left seat. Those hired early in the wave will see it more often than those hired later in the wave. That should be no shock and nobody hired into the program thus far is expecting to fly the left seat 100% of the time.
