I used system restore and set my laptop back to before the last update. I should have set another restore date because I guess you can only do it once. The next time it updated I had to set the computer back to the original configuration (system default). When you get it working again, you might try creating a new restore date so the next time it updates you'll be able to take it back again. OR, find out what's causing this mess...

Another new hire question, if you don't mind. I have the Ops Limits/boldface info and am working through that...is there anyway to get the systems stuff ahead of time?

Unfortunately, the systems manual is one of the few they don't have in an electronic form anywhere downloadable... (I'm sure someone with more tech savvy than me could try to get it off a tablet, but I have no clue.)

Went to interview a little while ago....
They said they need 40 more this year, and another 40 next year (I think they said that, getting hard to remember).
Single occupancy hotel room during training now.
Question for TSA people....the limitations, do you only memorize what's in the box, or all the notes below. Other airlines are memorize the box and know the notes, but not verbatim.
Also, looking over the new rest rules. Am I seeing a max of 60 hours of duty time a week? I could see where the airlines need more pilots.
TSA reserve....down to 10 days off a month because of no PBS, correct?
