Nevets. If XJT contract is so great how does it protect their jobs. I mean does it prevent Skywest from furloughing ERJ guys while hiring CRJ guys. Cause if it doesn't do that then it is pretty useless as soon the ERJ guys will be SOL.

It is and will be even more so after the ERJ side of XJT is gone.

I also make 5 dollars an hour more than my counter part at XJT. Money talks and really that is the number one benefit...cash. So sorry if I put way less value in other small insignificant benefits.

The two sides are still seperate until the merger is complete. In the mean time, if one side is furloughing and the other isn't, the furlough pilots go to the other side and keep their longevity for all purposes.

Live I've said, I put actual charts and comparisons to back up my claim. TSA guys just say their contract is above average when it inst.

Which pay rates are you looking at? Also, keep in mind that we get better 401k matching, a B fund, higher vacation accrual, higher sick accrual, higher per diem, less insurance cost-sharing.

All those things equate to more money in your account (or less taken out of your pay check when it comes to the insurance cost-sharing).

Whatever you say, non of those have small insignificant value to our bottom line.

Your comparison documents your using are wrong. I've seen them. Vacation and sick accrual and 401k are not good. Health care is a couple percent within average. Again you keep directly comparing xjt and tsa contracts. Stop doing that. Do the math and tell me what the exact average of all regionals are. Btw your rig is not that great at 2/3 hours. My friends at xjt say it rarely pays out. In August our per diem will match yours

It appears to me that some are having trouble understanding the English word "average"

I have been speaking English for about 28 years now, this link may provide some clarification for you.

Here you go.
