I love how surprised people are by this. Lets rewind a month or so. There were 4 or 5 people on here that called this from the beginning and were being ridiculed for being Hulas' cheerleaders.

The problem isn't finding guys it's keeping them. These experienced cqfos aren't coming here because they plan on staying at trans states more than they have to. I'd give them 6 to 12 months tops with their QOL. Plus with the lack of true FOs available, it's going to get crazy.

Like I have told Pilottim79 before he should stick to talking about TSA because he has no clue what is happening at the other Regionals. XJT will not be furloughing. We are actually hiring right now.

I was also told this. The airplanes being parked will be replaced. I was told the fleet size would be somewhere around 80, and that we have the ability to pull some off if we need to for staffing. I don't remember a specific number given in the company call for actually final fleet size. 72 or 80, it's still a hell of a lot of aircraft. As far as I know, we will get more if we can staff these.

I think RamRod made a comment about being surprised we are filling classes. What did everyone expect? PSA and Mesa are doing the same thing, and people hired there now are on the back side of the wave. People getting on here, CQFO or FO, will be on the front end for a while. Just like RR said, we told you so. Not to be a Richard, but...

The 1 and 2 year FO's, even 3-4 year people, at XJet,EagleVoy, and RAH that didn't take advantage of this are going to be kicking themselves. Enjoy those "mainline birds" guys, I'll gladly take Captain pay on this "baby jet" and a mainline job. Enjoy chucking that shiny handle for 5 more years at 23/hr.

Pretty sad when you guys have to use the scare tactic that other Regionals will furlough to make your place look more enticing! ( You all should stick to the facts. You have a program that should get guys and gals without having to make up rumors about other Regionals that you all don't know sh!t about.) By the way losing 36 XRs actually is saving us money. The cost us more to operate. Plus we still have 60+ XRS left.
