Says the guy who replied in 15min. Thanks for proving my point.

Also what do you need a call in for? You've got your cheeks spread and ready to say yes to anything.

Sorry, this wouldn't make your contract industry leading.

^^^This isn't true. But, there is a steep learning curve with PBS, and you have to know that. Further, without rigs or min days, PBS is useless. And if you really want a rig, get one that is both look forward AND look back.

If you think RL and FO weren't planning on throwing us another couple of percent right away or that they can't afford it, i feel bad for you and your shortsightedness.

I don't plan on being here much more than another year or two but I'm still voting no to get as much as I can, and help the industry get closer to what we deserve.
They need something quickly. That's a key point. The bonuses for new hires are simply a way to get around the CBA. They want something they can really hold in front of a potential new-hire.

This is one of the few times I've agreed in totality with FK. But this goes to the heart of the matter: they DO have another offer in their back pockets. They have a limit in mind about how far they will go, and the first offer is NEVER it, especially in good economic times.

Bottom line... What could a newly hired CQFO expect to earn their first year?

Even if this is voted in I don't see it solving the problem getting pilots here. For 3,000 less per year you get flow to American and commuter hotels at pdt.

Mesa doesn't have problems and their first two years are $22/$28. I personally wouldn't ever work at America West. The flow is nice but not everyone can or will go there.

The other carrot that will get people in the door is training pay increases. For someone who is qualified to be a CQFO, this is huge as many people know of how backed up our training department is.
