Well, I've had several folks warn me away from TSA, but with the new bonus and DEN being junior (meaning I wouldn't have to commute to reserve), I feel like I need to at least apply and give it a hard look.
If anyone who's been there a bit is looking for a mentee, PM me.

The fuel low level sensor in the left tank kept activating and being put on MEL. Eventually, some TSA mechanic gave up and cut the wires to it. Our mechanics in ABI found it (among other things) and called the FAA to come look at some of the things they were finding. It amazes me to this day that TSA wasn't fined out of existence by the feds.
Each aircraft we got back from them took on average of 1 million dollars of parts/labor to bring it up to airworthiness standards according to the American Eagle President at the time.

Current company call, a few highlights:
Management saying they are projecting DEN to be the only base to see continued growth for the coming months.
Going off memory, management planning one captain upgrade class per month through the summer with approximately a half dozen each class.
As far as IAD/DCA co-base, still planning on the switch (from LGA to DCA) in March and done by end of April. If it makes sense, possibly could look at a co-domicile after talks with ALPA.
Ongoing talks about PBS vote, talks are a "tremendous success" management and ALPA are very pleased with the results of the system. Seeing high productivity for pilots, good schedules, continuing improvements... May see a couple month extension for the vote due to Rainmaker (payroll) system trial period. Management wants pilots to see improvement in payroll before vote.
Rainmaker looking on-schedule to ahead of schedule, trial period currently in progress, looking very good, should come online mid-March for real time payroll fixes.

Definitely not coming anytime soon. I'm pretty skeptical we will ever see them. Especially considering the reluctance of mainline pilots to relax scope. Somebody asked the question on the company call today… And management said that we will be "flying 50-seaters well into the future, hundreds of them." We will see… You can always check the MRJ progress yourself at:

I feel bad for all those folks who were counting on the manufacturing jobs, but looks like 2020 at the soonest…

Brilliant observation. Yes, obviously not everyone who comes to TSA wants to be DEN domiciled. Good news as far as I'm concerned. More room for those who actually need/want to be there. Just quoting management on the current and future DEN growth...

So DEN growing? Why has several DEN FOs just left to ORD and STL? Not tryin to be a smart @ $ s. Seeing that the other day was disheartening. Maybe those guys wanted out? Upgrades is always a good word to hear though
