Default Union in Jeopardy

It appears that the union that represented the UA customer service employees is in jeopardy of being voted out. This is occuring because the union represents the CS population at UA, but CO has not had a union. Due to the fact that the CO employees aren't union and the UA employees are, an election must be held.
I am getting this from a friend who works for UA in ORD. These employees stand to lose a great deal if the union fails to win enough votes. The company allready tried to exclude UA employees from being able to vote which was thankfully appealed.
