Would that clause be you had to meet the standard; ie pass the upgrade syllabus? Just asking because it seems that would be the only thing stopping you.

You we're let go after your first attempt at CA upgrade training?

I must be missing something. I mean I get the fact that you should know your stuff after 10 years and all, but everyone has bad days on checkrides.
