I say we park the -400’s in the desert. Does Opie Taylor possess the balls? Does the pilot group in support?

Good luck.
Pilots are stupid. Dog food went up 18% and they don't mind paying $26 a bag when they used to pay $22 a year ago. This is literally every product from blue jeans to blueberries. But then pilots go to the negotiating table and ask for 15% with 25% after some years, when they haven't had a raise is ???. It passes by 51% and the union brags about massive gains. That's actually how stupid pilots are. Thanks for posting Exhibit A.

Ya!

How is a company supposed to resume stock buybacks when pilots are demanding that their pay at least keep up with inflation?

How is the operation supposed to expand when pilots are holding a company's feet to the fire?

I guess the choice is: do you want to force the company into furloughs and bankruptcy or do you wanna keep your jobs?

Surrender now.

IIRC, The freight rail companies own most of the tracks. Passenger rail would have also stopped.

So few posts and so much wisdom.
