The new United hasn't purchased/leased any Airbus aircraft?
We are receiving 20 or so A319s off lease from China currently and is ongoing. Other than that - yes no significant order of current era Airbus airframes.

So the A319/A320 are there to stay for a while?
Is QOL the same on the Airbus and 737?

I really think your time would be better spent thinking about Piper vs Cessna.

Those A320's were delivered to Braniff the second version in 1989, I believe they were the first US carrier to take delivery of the A320. They did proving runs and the airline subsequently shut down and I believe some of these airplanes ended up at Leisure air.
