Default Airbus 320 hours down

It appears that the 320 fleet hours are way down for April system wide. I believed the SSC report said 1,000 hours, which is a big change for one month. Anybody have a clue why?

Same same for EWR 777. YoY 24000 hours April '16 and 22900 April '17 (going on memory so maybe someone can check if that's right). Wonder what's driving it?

You also have to look at.what holidays/ events are going on in that month.

I believe Easter this year is in a different bid month as compared to last year. That brings some schedule adjustments (cancellations) that may be affecting the block hours in certain markets.

Denigrating the reliability of the Bus fleet - this coming from a 787 pilot...

You have no idea what you are talking about. The reliability of the Airbus fleet is better than it has ever been since UAL bought them. (UAL was the US launch customer of the 319/320 - you probably weren't a United pilot then, I was)

POS - really? Ask our passengers and FA's which narrow body they would prefer to fly on or operate.

I'd call you a tool but that would be an insult to tools so I won't do that. I will just call you completed uninformed about the company you claim you work for.

Shack. Haven't had to so much as pull off a taxi way to trouble shoot in at least a year. Meanwhile a 787 couldn't take SFO 28R the other day (even though the ATIS specifically said pull numbers for 28L & R) because, and I quote "it's too hard to reprogram the computer." Add five more minutes for the 26 jets waiting to takeoff behind them.

That's embarrassing.

This info will come as a great surprise to all the NWA pilots who were flying them a couple years before Wolf even placed the order.
