I would say SC is not possible, especially if you're a halfwinger. Long call is doable. I commute out of PDX and am SFO based. I would go to SFO when on SC and I did LC from home. But I also have 13 mainline flights daily between AS, VX, and UAL.

Just remember that the commuter clause does not apply if you do this. (Not you personally but the OP)

If history repeats itself, upgrade time is 4 years, 8 years, and 18 years.

Upgrade to CA in SFO. I could have held it at 3 years for about a year, then again at 11 years for about a year , then again at about 16 years seniority. Now at 20 years I'd be a middle of the road line holder as a 737 in SFO. If you were LCAL those number are drastically different.

Default 777 G Line

W-T-F just happened for the May bid month on the 777 FO in SFO? The G Line swung from 10400ish to 8600ish! Is this normal for this time of year or does this have anything to do with the delay on the -300s?

Anyone?

Looks like the "tough, you bid it" reserve argument just took another hit.

From Howard's update yesterday...

To help you make an informed displacement decision, I’d like to provide some additional information on how the 747 flying will be replaced. In general, all 747 routes will be flown by the new 777-300 aircraft, with the exception of SFO-PVG and SFO-ICN, which will be flown by the 787. In addition, SFO-LHR is expected to seasonally rotate between the 777-300 and 777-200

So is the LHR trip coming back or is this just temporary?

First we have to actually get the planes form Boeing. Then maybe. Howard may not know we fly the 300 an 200 interchangeably? It used to go between the 747 and 777 seasonally, maybe his speech writer just substituted and didn't think about content.
