Maybe he's talking about the bid where *Capernicus* *pixie-dusted* over a hundred or so crews from *Atlantis* because *Sasquatch* threw sand in his *Unicorn*. *Don't play with matches.*

I do remember that. I sort of presumed that all of that had worked itself out. That was like 10 years ago..... I figured whatever staffing adjustments needed to be made post Kaye Riggs would have simply been made. Heck, he's been gone a long time, and for that matter so has Abbot.

It worked itself out for awhile now. Notice the endless stream of newhire pilots into EWR for the past six years and the disproportionate upward movement in EWR? But guys will keep holding on to some bunk about Abbott/Riggs from 10 years ago...

Calling it "bunk" doesn't mean it didn't happen. That particular incident may have happened a while ago but the uneven emphasis placed on IAH by Abbott and his pals has taken a lot longer to unwind- especially with Smisek bumbling around for a few years. His little ****ing contest with the mayor didn't help.

The latest kick in the teeth:

The flight planning area at gate C-34 is being turned over to our "regional partners", please remove your bags...

Who has bags that are left at the airport anymore? I always wonder why there are rows of dusty chart bags still laying around various operations areas. There really is no reason for rows and rows of bags in the iPad age.
