Just published Crew Resources says it's the first of several and it's HUGE. Sorry on iPad so can't copy and paste efficiently.

282 Vacancies.

This should cause some movement but Its not the biggest bid we have seen in the last couple years.

Is there a date that said above vacancies have to be trained by ? So 282 by when ?

But - first of 3 or 4.

Obviously we no longer do steady monthly vacancies like L-UAL in the good 'ole days but rather larger system bids packed in specific quarters.

Personally I am super disappointed the letter says EWR756 is set for next summer. It just seems impossible.

There is no "Have to be trained" timeline. However, there are protections in the contract for delayed training. If you are not trained, including done with IOE, within 90 days of the effective date you have the ability to displace to anywhere your seniority can hold. Other than that they can delay your training as long as they like.

117 Capt positions is kinda big (hugely?!)
Definitely hints to that Airbus announcement (Thursday?!)

When you figure that we retire about 25ish Capts a month, this is something to be positive about.

Motch

Absolutely! no argument from me Im one of the most positive ones on here. :D. I was just expecting a MOAB when I went and looked based on Sunvoxs post. This will get alot of people into new seats and bases and will be fun to watch.

If your question is about those that go "unfilled" and would therefore be eligible for new hires, the answer is 90 days after the final results are published.

So, that means that the "unfilled" vacancies from the last bid can be used up through about Mid January.

The expected 200 "unfilled" from this bid would be usable up until about the end of January

And we aren't buying JB.
