There are numerous reasons not to take a narrow body Captain bid. Family, quality of life, money, seniority, sanity are a few that come to mind.
Folks should take a peek at the 50th percentile for each BES (base, equipment, and seat) to get a feel for the seniority distribution at the airline. In contrast, the bottom 5% of each BES is “junior”—- both relatively and by definition. |
