Agreed.

But run the numbers. STILL a very small group that will get called for 2018.

Unfortunately yes.

I agree with the way it looks now but could def change at a moments notice

Hopefully.

But with the disaster that TK has become combined with not ever hitting a hiring projection to date, it doesn't look like that's a possibility.

Just think of all the money they saved not carrying those extra pilots on the payroll....sarcasm intended.

So some more questions:

What is TK?

Reserve: How many of those 18ish days do you get used? If they call you is it typically a one day deal and then you go back home, or is it a multi-day trip, or some combination of the two?

If I read it right, there is no more sim portion of the interview?

What's the lag time between filling out the application and getting an interview? I want to make sure I have enough time to prepare, but I don't want to waste time either.

I thought my logbooks were in decent shape, but I have hours of work to get them presentable. I've tried a several electronic apps, and so far no single one does everything I need. Anyone know a good app? Or should I just suck it up and finish the last 10 years worth of totals that I haven't done?

The training center in Denver.

A reserve assignment can be anything for a four-hour field standby to a series of trips extending for the entirety of your reserve block, and then some. There is no typical. Assignment's will vary by domicile, fleet, and season.

Correct. It was replaced by a CRM exercise.

Anywhere from a few months to many years. There is no guarantee then any particular qualified applicant will ever be called.

Anyone know a good [logbook] app?
I use Logbook Pro. It isn't cheap but it's well supported.

That's funny.

Can't wait for the DVD on "Airline Manager, how to talk and lie without employees catching on."
