Agree 100%. I took the Hogan in November, got the December interview. Before taking it I kicked the wife and kids out of the house, grabbed a nice cold beverage and sat at the computer with no distractions. It doesn't take that long, and really it isn't too painful.[/QUOTE In 2007, I had to take the Hogan at a certified testing center. Now, it’s allowed to be completed at home. I wonder if there is a secret industry out there where people are paying someone to take the Hogan for them.. (tinfoil hat type thinking, I know!) |

When is your interview? PM me if you have any questions about the process, I just went through it last month. Good luck! |

I wouldn't be surprised if someone did that, but that's so risky unless you know your bro will pass it for sure. Were you a Charleston or McChord 17 bubba? I was at TCM and WRI. Altus 04-06 Dover 06-pres (AFRC) |
I haven't been able to find a class drops thread for United. I did see a thread that mentioned that the first January class was cancelled. Is the lack of a thread because there has been no classes recently, or am I just not searching the right keywords?

February New Hire Classes For what it's worth I also posted this information which came from a training slide all United pilots must watch . . . https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/a...rnest-hire.jpg |
In some of the other forums, they have a thread called "so and so Class Drops", and they post what equipment and what bases were chosen by the members of a new hire class.
Sometimes they are very specific and show where each new guy went by their seniority. So if there were 40 people in the class it would show where each one from 1 - 40 went and what plane they got. Also, does United use last 4 of SS# to determine class priority? And do they do high to low or low to high if so? |
I believe United uses date of birth for seniority purposes in new hire classes.
|
meaning the older you are the better your pick? I wonder what the average class age is...
|
I believe average age has been mid 30s to low 40s so a WAG of 38. The term "drop" seems to solely apply to what new hires are getting and has been used for awhile now. I've not heard the term for any other kind of vacancy. Now let's get to hiring!
