Can't wait for the DVD on "Airline Manager, how to talk and lie without employees catching on."

Is the Hogan Assessment part of the interview?

How often does the opportunity to change bases or equipment come up? Is it a set time each month/quarter/year or as needed?

Assuming your application;

1) Is 100% perfectly filled out with no errors/omissions/gaps, etc
2) Scores enough points on the electronic system

THEN the email comes for the Hogan, which you take at home or wherever. It's the first step in the selection process AFTER application reviewing.

Part of the interview? Well, yes in a manner of speaking. But if you don't pass the Hogan, you don't get an interview. And it's a minimum wait for a year for the application to be looked at again. That does not AT ALL MEAN you will get a Hogan a year later.

Is there any way to prepare for a Hogan test? I'm pretty sure I'm not a psychopath, but can anyone ever be *totally* sure?:D:D

Also, what are upgrade times like these days? The main page on this website is still saying 11 years for A3320 and 19 for 737. That can't be right, right?

Really no way to prepare. Impossible to accurately predict upgrade times though those numbers sound very high. 19 is far too high.

The last snapshot had EWR A320 CA going to folks in the 9000 seniority number range. That could be anywhere from year 2000-2008 hires depending on legacy background I would guess.

B737 was going as junior as 10 year upgrade for a while, but they have really shrunk the vacancies since deliveries have stopped. Maybe it will pick up again before the MAX arrives.

Just took the Hogan and got an invite. A friend gave me the best advice. Answer honestly so that you’re consistent and don’t try to game the answers. That said, until today I thought the worst.

That sounds like pretty good advice, thanks.

Agree 100%. I took the Hogan in November, got the December interview. Before taking it I kicked the wife and kids out of the house, grabbed a nice cold beverage and sat at the computer with no distractions. It doesn't take that long, and really it isn't too painful.

When is your interview? PM me if you have any questions about the process, I just went through it last month. Good luck!
