Awesome and great news! My May 4th CJO just might be a real job offer after all.

Nearly a year from starting the interview process. Good grief. Hope we get some more in here beneath you.

BK has been hung out to dry on this fiasco. He takes his marching orders from the hotdog factory, and their dysfunction has made him and his department look bad in the eyes of all these new hires. You’re not supposed to see that until after you’re on the line.

Sound like the log jam is broken, I’ll be surprised to see how many in the pool have moved on to other jobs while treading water.

“Off The Street” newhire: Someone who just applied and got on, as opposed to someone who got an interview as a result of some guaranteed interview via a regional partner airline. Can’t remember what three letter acronym those programs are called. CPP? No idea what that stands for.

“Conditional Job Offer”: A job offer based upon a successful background check, basic Facebook search, no subsequent FAA action or legal issues. It’s conditional until you’re sitting in Basic Indoc on day one, after you’re probationary year is complete really.
