Watching CNBC right now - Phil LeBeau is saying that United plans on growing ASMs 4-6% for 2018, 2019, 2020. Not only are they going to have to add those aircraft to grow by that number, they're also going to have to increase daily utilization rates on aircraft.
We should also watch RJ reliability numbers. I don't think they'll be able to find enough pilots to add that much RJ capacity - my understanding is that regional carriers are already struggling with finding pilots.
I am very glad to hear 4-6% growth per year; that's a reversal of our previous (lack of) growth trends.
