Pherhaps you should vote for candidates who will lower your state taxes.

Why bother?

There is 0 correlation with who is in the White House and our contracts. None.
Probably the most ignorant statement I've seen on these boards. As if the POTUS doesn't appoint members to the National Mediation Board? The organization that facilitates our contract negotiations and labor/management disputes. It would be like me saying there is 0 correlation with who is in the White House and our Supreme Court nominees. None. LOL.

Virginia is rapidly becoming a socialist state... I doubt that this trend will reverse... probably moving is the only real option to lower state taxes.

The incoming President doesn’t automatically wipe out the NMB members and install new ones. The fact that Obama was president during the last contract, also moot, because the NMB members were from previous appointments. Trump just named one, so right now there are 2 Rs and 1 D on the NMB.

So the next contract will settle this. Its an R President, and 2 of the 3 NMB members are R appointees, so if we get a concessionary contract, you win. And if we get a better contract, then I guess there will be some big excuse.

False. Are you the Donald Trump of the APC boards? Always lying? Obama nominated Puchala in 2009. She is a former Association of Flight Attendants Union President. Kinda like an inmate running the penitentiary. :D And he re-nominated Hoglander. An Air Force and Airline Pilot. The results were self evident.

So I just looked at the latest form 2106 expense guidelines, dated 1/12/18, if I follow the flow chart it tells me to file the form....

Just gotta observe that I find it shocking that there are union airline pilots in 2018 that apparently do not understand that we are under the jurisdiction of the Railway Labor Act, and thus the National Mediation Board, regardless of their personal political affiliation.

Considering we are in active contract talks it might be a good time for folks to bone up on the basics---and I mean the basics.

You don't understand. Today one determines the narrative first and then imagines the "facts" to support one's beliefs. ;)

Amazing, isn't it? He probably 'feels' this is the way it should be.

The changes don’t happen until your 2018 taxes; ie, filing in 2019.
